Role Overview

The Receptionist & Front Desk Assistant is responsible for managing day-to-day front desk operations, handling inquiries, and supporting administrative and communication functions at IIG.

This is an entry-level role suited for someone who is organized, communicative, and eager to learn, while contributing to a professional and welcoming environment for students and visitors.

Key Responsibilities

1. Front Desk & Inquiry Handling

Attend to walk-in visitors, phone calls, WhatsApp, and social media inquiries Provide basic and accurate information regarding courses, schedules, and admissions Record and track all inquiries and ensure timely follow-ups Coordinate campus visits and appointments

2. Admissions & Student Support

Assist prospective students with basic application guidance Maintain records of inquiries and enrolled students Support the admissions team with follow-ups and documentation

3. Social Media Support

Respond to messages and comments on social media platforms Assist in posting basic updates, stories, and daily activities Coordinate with the marketing team for content execution

4. Administrative Duties

Maintain visitor logs, attendance records, and basic documentation Support scheduling and coordination between departments Assist in organizing events, workshops, and daily operations

5. Front Desk Management

Ensure the reception area is clean, organized, and presentable Maintain a professional and polite demeanor at all times Represent IIG positively in all interactions

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree (or currently pursuing) Good communication skills in English and Nepali Basic knowledge of social media platforms Organized and detail-oriented Willingness to learn and take initiative

Preferred
