Prakriti Resources Centre (PRC) invites applications from the qualified candidates for the following three positions:

1. Position: Programme Manager

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Programme Manager to join our team. The Programme Manager is required to lead the planning, execution, and assessment of projects centered on climate change, low-carbon development, resilience and disaster risk reduction, and environmental sustainability, ensuring their quality, adherence to deadlines, and compliance with donor requirements. The position requires skills to develop monitoring and evaluation structures and processes. This role requires a master's degree preferably in environment science, climate change, natural resources management, a minimum of 4 years' experience in climate change related projects with leadership exposure, strong project cycle management skills, and a commitment to addressing cross-cutting issues such as GESI and good governance. The ideal candidate will excel in team leadership and possess advanced analytical skills.

2. Position: Project Officer (Climate Finance)

Prakriti Resources Centre (PRC) is seeking a highly motivated and skilled individual to join our team as a Project Officer (Climate Finance). As a full-time member of PRC, dedicated to sustainable development and environmental justice, the incumbent will play a pivotal role in leading the delivery of climate finance projects. Key responsibilities include ensuring the effective and timely implementation of project activities, including tracking and maintaining a database on climate finance, supporting the publication of policy briefs and reports, and engaging with government stakeholders, NGOs, and development partners. 

With a Bachelor’s degree (preferably Masters) in Economics, Economic Development, Finance, or related disciplines, along with a minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience, this role requires proven experience in national budget analysis, project management, and stakeholder engagement. The candidate should demonstrate a strong understanding of climate finance, planning, and budgeting, experience in engaging with government ministries, and familiarity with the climate or environment sector are highly desirable.

3. Position: Communications Officer

As a key member of our team, you will develop and execute a comprehensive communication strategy aligned with our objectives. Your role will involve crafting compelling content across various channels, fostering media relations, and monitoring the effectiveness of our communication efforts. If you are passionate about environmental advocacy and possess excellent communication skills, we invite you to join us in making a positive difference.

Are you a creative communicator with a passion for sustainable development and environmental justice? PRC is looking for you to fill our Communication Officer position. In this role, you will play a crucial part in amplifying PRC's initiatives through strategic planning and impactful content creation. Your responsibilities will include managing digital platforms, cultivating media relationships, and evaluating the success of our communication strategies.
