Sydney Met is registered with the Tertiary Education Quality and Standards Agency (TEQSA) as a higher education provider. Sydney Met offers an undergraduate course: Bachelor of Business (Entrepreneurship), offered within the terms of the Australian Qualifications Framework. Sydney Met is also listed on the Commonwealth Register of Institutions and Courses for Overseas Students (CRICOS) (Provider Code 03906M) which allows it to enroll international students who have been granted student visas to study in Australia.

Selection criteria:

·         Over 5 years of experience in marketing or public relations or communications, preferably in the educational agency environment in Nepal (and/or overseas),

·         At least Bachelor degree, specialized in marketing or allied disciplines, and have an interest in marketing career in the educational industry;

·         Strong link with college teachers/ principals, colleges and universities in Kathmandu and cities in Nepal/ or strong willingness and ability to establish links with colleges;

·         Proven knowledge of overseas education and consulting business in relation to marketing needs and strategies

·         Promote and market the partnered College courses to prospective students in an ethical, responsible and legally compliant manner.

·         Ensure on-going compliance with the CRICOS, ESOS and National Code 2018 requirements pertaining to the marketing of College services.

·         Demonstrated speaking, writing and listening ability in English and Nepali languages

·         Strong project management skills, and strong focus on timely delivery of results;

·         Desirable: People, who have studied in Australia (or UK/ USA) and returned to Nepal for good, will be given special consideration.

·         Strong sense of professionalism, integrity and ethics in service provision

Key Responsibilities 

  ·          Key responsibly is to look after Nepal Office of Australia College. 

   ·       Constantly update the Nepal office activities and communicate with our Australian College Team. 

·         Developing, implementing and executing strategic marketing plans for promotion of the college.

·         Build strategic relationships and partner with key industry players, agencies and vendors

·         Creation and publication of all marketing material in line with marketing plans.

·         Planning and implementing and co-ordinating promotional campaigns and measuring results

·         Preparing online and print marketing campaigns.

·         Monitor and report on effectiveness of marketing communications.

·         Maintain effective internal communications to ensure that all relevant company functions are kept informed.

Qualification: Candidates must have a bachelor degree or equivalent qualification, preferably majoring in marketing and an excellent English proficiency

Duration: Initially 1 year contract with the strong possibility of renewal upon annual review. The first 3-months will be probationary period.

An attractive salary and incentive packages will be negotiated. Salary is commensurate with experience.
