Background

Plan International is an independent development and humanitarian organisation that advances children’s rights and equality for girls. Plan International has been working in Nepal since 1978 helping marginalized children, their families and communities to access their rights to survival, protection and participation. With the close coordination of local partners and stakeholders, we are working in 14 districts across the country.

We invite applications from eligible and interested candidates in the following capacities:

1.  Project Officer (Open to all applicants, Short-term employment until February 2027) based in Nuwakot

Responsibilities: The position holder provides project management and oversight required to ensure the effective implementation of the Nepal Flash Flood Response Project through the local implementing partner. The role monitors project progress, validates quality and compliance, supports budget and reporting processes, and coordinates with partners, local government, donors, and other stakeholders to ensure timely achievement of project objectives and results.
