Everest Club is a non-profit and non-government organization. It was established and registered in 1993 AD under the District Administration Office also affiliated with Social Welfare Council, Kathmandu. The organization is dedicated to holistic and integrated development based on a harmonious balance of socio-culture, material and organization trusted on teamwork and development through community mobilization.

Everest Club is going to implement the “LEARNING NEVER STOPS:  Helping Children to Keep Learning at Home and to Return to School Safely” project in Chamunda Bindrasaini Municipality of Dailekh District in partnership with Save the Children. The project aims to improve and support the children from the most deprived and marginalized families of working area have continued access to quality education during periods of school closure and as schools reopen. This project will reach around 11000 children and adult in program municipality. Everest Club, Dailekh seeks eligible and interested citizens to apply for the following post.

Job Title: Project Coordinator (PC) (1 position based at Chamundabindrasaini Municipality, Dailekh)

Key responsibilities:

This position is key for implementing LEARNING NEVER STOPS: Helping Children to Keep Learning at Home and to Return to School Safely activities in Chamundabindrasaini municipality. The PC is responsible for overall management, planning, implementation, monitoring, and reporting of LEARNING NEVER STOPS activities in the project area. This position holder will work in close collaboration with Chamundabindrasaini municipality.  In addition, s/he will work as a budget holder of the project and manage logistics, finance, ensures MEAL approach, and human resources under the project. In the aspect of implementation, s/he will provide technical support to the field level staff and ensure 40% field visit and coaching to the project officers, education.

Key Qualification and Skills:

Project Coordinator of this project is required to have a Masters's degree of with at least three-years’ experience in project management. S/he is required to have sound knowledge of project management skills. S/he is expected to maintain effective documentation and reporting mechanisms both in Nepali and English. S/he also must be equipped in preparing contextual and relevant reports, case studies, proposals and overall writing skills (Both Nepali and English).  PC must have excellent computer skills MS- word, Excel, PowerPoints and data analysis. S/he should be able to manage the human resource and have effective coordination skill across the various stakeholders of the local level and district.
