Subject: Vacancy announcement for Project Coordinator in CLIMATES project

Rural Community Development Centre (RCDC) Doti is a non-profitable NGO registered in Doti District and working in the sectors of Resilience Livelihoods, Disaster Response, Climate Change, Education and Health with other sectors of community development since 2058 B.S.

In partnership with United Mission to Nepal, RCDC Doti is going to implement 'Climate Change Impact, Mitigation and Adaptation for Environmental Sustainability (CLIMATES)' Project in three wards (ward no. 1, 4 & 7) of Bogtan Fudsil Rural Municipality Doti. RCDC is looking for strong and potential Nepalese candidates to fulfill the following positions:

Project Coordinator

Based in Bogatan Fusdil RM

  • Minimum bachelor’s degree in agriculture/environmental science/social science/social work with at least three years of experience in integrated community development projects focused on resilient approach and right-based approach.
  • Master's degree with relevant experience (One year plus) in mentioned fields is preferred.
  • Have skill and experience on adaptive planning, budgeting and implementation of project interventions and strategies/ approaches
  • Excellent working experience with groups, community mobilization and action reflection process
  • Strong experience of working on Natural resource management, Climate Change, Livelihoods, food security, right to food and livestock and enterprise development etc.
  • Broader understanding of crosscutting issues such as disability, gender, climate-change, conflict sensitivity.
  • Have good coordination, collaboration, and networking skills.
  • Have human resource management and mobilization skills
  • Have knowledge, skill, and experience of participatory action research
  • Familiar with rural communities, local language, and culture
  • Have good report writing skills (English preferred).
  • Have a two-wheeler driving license to visit communities
