Programme Coordinator
Location: Lalitpur, Nepal
Reports to: Deputy Regional Coordinator
Contract Type: Full-time
About the Position
Terre des Hommes Germany is seeking a motivated and committed Programme Coordinator to support and oversee partner-led programmes focused on child rights, child protection, education, youth engagement, environmental and climate justice, and humanitarian response.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and oversee partner-led programmes, ensuring quality implementation, compliance, and achievement of agreed results.
- Maintain strong partnerships with partner organizations, government stakeholders, community groups, and youth networks.
- Provide technical support, monitor programme progress, budgets, and results, and support timely corrective actions.
- Conduct field visits and facilitate programme monitoring, reporting, learning, and knowledge sharing.
- Strengthen partner capacities through training, mentoring, and organizational development initiatives.
- Support proposal development, donor reporting, resource mobilization, and stakeholder engagement.
- Promote safeguarding, accountability, gender equality, diversity, inclusion, and child participation across all programmes.
Qualifications, Experience, Skills and Competencies
- Master’s degree in international development, Development Studies, Social Sciences, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years or more of relevant experience in project/programme coordination, partnership management, and donor-funded programmes.
- Demonstrated experience in child rights, child protection, education, youth engagement, environmental and climate justice, and humanitarian response.
