Multipurpose Development Society (MPDS) is a Nepali non-governmental, not-for-profit, social development organization, committed to driving positive change and empowerment in Nepal’s rural communities. The organization's vision is to envision a healthy, beautiful, peaceful, disciplined, self-reliant, exemplary, and dynamic society with gender equality.  MPDS has been working with the poor and marginalized people in Sudurpaschim province to empower them for the past 28 years.

In strategic partnership with Noora Health, MPDS is implementing and expanding the Care Companion Program (CCP) in Lumbini and Gandaki Provinces of Nepal. It has been implementing the Care Companion Program (CCP) Program in Sudurpaschim Province with funding support from Noora Health from June 2025.  This innovative program aims to improve health outcomes by training family caregivers within hospital settings, specifically focusing on Maternal and Child Health (MCH), Tuberculosis (TB), and Non-Communicable Diseases (NCD). This project is executed in close coordination and technical support with the MoHP, NHIECC, NHTC, MoSD, PHTC, PHD, Health Offices and Hospitals. MPDS has announced a vacancy for the following positions to ensure effective project implementation seeking highly qualified and motivated Nepali citizen.

Minimum Required Qualification
Master's degree in health sciences or equivalent
Knowledge, Skills, Work Experience, and Commitment
  • At least 5 years’ working experience in MCH/TB/NCD program or relevant program sector.
  • Knowledge of programming, program implementation, and team handling and mobilization.
  • Prepare training session plans, materials and tools in collaboration with Noora Health and advanced training facilitation knowledge and skill.
  • Critical thinking, creativity for innovation, research development, data analysis and technical expertise.
  • Strong understanding of the HMIS TB recording and reporting system (NTCC). 
  • Familiarity with Nepal’s health system landscape in Gandaki Province.
  • Knowledge of MNCH, NCD and TB program in Nepal.
  • Good knowledge of logistic management and stock handling. 
  • Good command and skills to operate MS office software (MS Word, MS Excel, and PowerPoint).
  • Competent in coordination, collaboration, and liaison with government and non-governmental stakeholders as well as local communities at province level.
  • Good skills in interpersonal personal communication, negotiation, team mobilization, and documentation skills.
  • Excellent negotiation and liaison skills with government and non-governmental stakeholders.
  • Skills of report writing, data interpretation, and presentation.
  • Knowledge of CCP models (family-centered care) is a significant advantage.
  • Must have a 2-wheeler driving license
