Program Manager (Consultant)

Nepal Peacebuilding Initiative (NPI) is seeking a qualified and experienced Program Manager (Consultant) for a four-month consultancy from 1 September to 31 December 2026.

About the Role

The Program Manager will work closely with youth and conflict survivors across four conflict-affected districts. The position will support efforts to empower young people to become leaders in peacebuilding and memory work through:

  • Sustained intergenerational dialogue
  • Trauma-informed training
  • Psychosocial support
  • Inclusive community forums
  • Youth engagement and leadership in peacebuilding initiatives

Qualifications and Experience

Applicants should have:

  • A Master’s degree in a relevant field
  • Demonstrated experience in managing transitional justice (TJ) projects
  • Strong understanding of peacebuilding, conflict-affected communities, youth engagement, and/or memory work
  • Excellent communication, coordination, and program management skills

Remuneration

NPI offers a competitive consultancy fee/salary commensurate with qualifications and experience.
