Support Nepal (SNP) is a national organization committed to promoting accountable governance, inclusive development, and institutional capacity strengthening across Nepal. SNP works with communities, local governments, and development partners to deliver innovative, sustainable, and compliant development programs.
SNP has entered into a Strategic Technical Partnership with the dZi Foundation. This agreement entails detailed compliance, reporting, deliverable management, and coordination requirements. To ensure quality and timeliness in implementing this partnership, SNP seeks to engage a Part-Time Contract Management Consultant (Pt CMC) for a 12-month period.
Role Overview
The Part-Time Contract Management Consultant will ensure efficient, compliant, and proactive management of SNP’s Strategic Technical Partnership contract with the dZi Foundation. The consultant will work closely with SNP management, technical, finance, and compliance teams to strengthen systems, track deliverables, monitor performance, and manage contractual risks.
Key Responsibilities
- Establish and maintain a practical contract tracking and compliance system covering obligations, deadlines, deliverables, invoices, and approvals.
- Monitor implementation against the Statement of Work, deliverable and payment schedules, and reporting requirements.
- Strengthen compliance in areas including audit, financial documentation, records retention, confidentiality, data protection, and branding.
- Review invoices and ensure their completeness and alignment with approved deliverables.
- Maintain tracking tools such as a compliance matrix, risk register, and performance dashboard.
- Facilitate timely communication with dZi Foundation and support revisions or clarifications as required.
- Submit monthly briefs, quarterly performance reviews, and an annual contract management report.
- Support periodic internal reviews and coordination meetings.
Key Deliverables
- Inception report and workplan within 10 working days of contract signing.
- Contract obligation and compliance matrix.
- Deliverable and invoice tracking tools.
- Monthly management briefs and quarterly performance review notes.
- Risk register and issue log updated regularly.
- Annual review report and end-of-assignment handover package.
Qualifications and Experience
- Master’s degree in management, public administration, law, development studies, business administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 5- 7 years of experience in contract and grants management with INGOs or donor-funded programs.
- Proven ability to design and operate contract/grant tracking systems and maintain compliance documentation.
- Experience working across program and finance teams to interpret and operationalize contract clauses.
- Familiarity with donor/INGO compliance areas including reporting, branding, and data protection.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and English communication skills; good command of Nepali is an advantage.
- High integrity and ability to work independently while engaging with cross-functional teams.

Reporting and Supervision
The consultant will report to the designated SNP senior manager (Program Manager or equivalent) and coordinate closely with SNP’s program, finance, and compliance units. Authorized communication with the dZi Foundation’s focal points may occur as required.
