VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT
Position: Operations Officer
Sector: Hospitality / Restaurant
This team member will support the daily operations of a group of companies, while also performing personal duties as assigned by Management, not limited but mostly in the hospitality/restaurant sector. Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
A. Operations Management
- Oversee daily operational needs, including staff coordination, store readiness, and customer handling.
- Monitor and verify daily financial records for all outlets and report discrepancies immediately.
- Supervise small teams by communicating instructions, tracking performance, checking attendance and ensuring tasks are completed properly.
- Support HR functions including basic hiring coordination, onboarding, rule enforcement and maintaining staff records.
- Manage social media content, posts and promotional activities for assigned ventures.
B. Construction and Setup Oversight
- Monitor ongoing construction or setup activities and ensure contractors such as carpenters, plumbers, electricians and installers complete work on time.
- Coordinate with vendors for equipment installation, signage, kitchen setup and repair works.
- Report progress and issues to Management regularly.
C. Inventory and Logistics
- Track inventory levels, supplies and equipment and notify Management when replenishment is required.
- Maintain clean and organized storage and work areas.
- Coordinate pickups, deliveries and movement of materials or items.
D. Vendor and Supplier Management
- Maintain an updated list of vendors and service providers.
- Obtain quotations, review invoices and follow up on pending orders or services.
- Submit, collect and organize vendor documents, receipts and related paperwork.
E. Administrative and Financial Support
- Handle paperwork including bills, receipts, payment proofs and record keeping.
- Track expenses, maintain petty cash logs and prepare simple financial summaries when required.
- Visit banks, offices and government institutions to submit applications, collect documents or complete forms.
F. Personal Duties to Management
- Run errands for the owner including collecting rents, processing visas or documents, and handling urgent tasks as assigned.
- Communicate with external parties on behalf of Management and provide logistical support.
- Support in new venture as directed.
- Maintain confidentiality, professionalism and high responsiveness.
G. General Responsibilities
- Perform additional tasks assigned by Management to support smooth operations.
- Uphold company values, maintain professional behavior and communicate clearly with all stakeholders.
Other essential skills:
- Bachelors degree completed (preferably in hospitality sector BHM)
- 3 years minimum experience
- Mature mindset and individual
- Good communication in English and Nepali
- Good computer skills in internet, microsoft suites, email, etc.
