Migration Support Officer
We are a migration lawyers based in Australia. We are looking for a reliable and well-spoken Migration Support Officer to join our team in an onsite role. The successful candidate will assist with client communication, migration administration, form preparation, and workflow support.
This role is ideal for someone who is organised, confident speaking with clients, and comfortable handling administrative tasks with accuracy and care. Experience in Australian migration is highly preferred, but not mandatory for the right candidate with strong communication skills and a willingness to learn.
Key Responsibilities
Handling inbound client calls and responding to general enquiries
Collecting client information and documents required for migration matters
Completing and preparing migration-related forms and applications
Assisting with data entry and maintaining accurate client records
Following up with clients for missing information or documents
Supporting the Director with day-to-day workflow management
Tracking application progress and updating internal systems
Preparing basic correspondence and client updates
Coordinating tasks between clients, the Director, and internal team members
Ensuring all work is completed accurately, professionally, and on time
Requirements
Experience in Australian migration preferred but not mandatory
Excellent English communication skills, both spoken and written
Confident handling inbound calls and speaking with clients
Strong attention to detail
Good organisational and time management skills
Ability to follow processes and work independently
Comfortable using online forms, CRM systems, email, and cloud-based tools
Reliable, proactive, and willing to learn
Professional attitude when dealing with clients and confidential information
Must be available to work onsite
Preferred Experience
Previous work with an Australian migration agency
Familiarity with Australian visa types and migration processes
Experience completing immigration or government forms
Experience in client support, administration, legal admin, or case processing roles
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is someone who communicates clearly, manages tasks efficiently, and supports the Director in keeping client matters moving forward. They do not need to be a registered migration agent, but they should be comfortable working in a process-driven environment where accuracy, confidentiality, and client service are important.
