Vu Devi Services is a business process outsourcing company established in 2013. It has been working to serve its foreign clients in the field of medical report writing. The company currently has 58 core staff including a team of medical data processors, medical doctors, physiotherapists, nurses, and pharmacists. Since most of our work is done in real-time to serve our overseas clients, our staff usually works from home. We only have 5 days a week work schedule and most of our work is done online during night time (Nepali time). We encourage teamwork and value internationally accepted work principles.

Job Requirements and Expectations:

  1. This is an on-site position (Work from the Office). Remote work is not available.
  2. Bachelor’s /Master's degree in a related field.
  3. We need a minimum commitment of TWO YEARS. If you are unwilling to commit for at least two years, PLEASE DO NOT APPLY. 
  4.  Official working days are 5 days a week (Monday to Friday). We provide holidays on Saturday and Sunday.
  5. We follow U.S. working hours and do not provide holidays on Nepali national holidays, including Dashain and Tihar.
  6. The initial training period will be 1–3 months, salary will be paid during the training. Upon successful completion of your training and satisfactory performance, a contract will be offered.
  7. Candidates with good IELTS or TOEFL scores or with good English proficiency will be prioritized. A good academic background in medicine is preferred.
  8. Candidates must have a good skill in Microsoft Office package (Word and Excel) and a typing speed of minimum 40 words per minute.

Salary and Incentives:

  1. The initial salary will range from Rs 50,000 per month to Rs 70,000 per month(Based on Qualification).
  2. We have a performance-based pay system. The salary will increase based on your work performance.
  3. There is a standard procedure to evaluate performance and a standard format that explains the performance-based pay system.

Job Description:

  1. Prepare online medical reports using client-provided information.
  2. Write, edit, and review scientific and medical documents with high accuracy and consistency.
  3. Follow standard operating procedures and client-specific formatting guidelines.
  4. Present and manage data according to well-defined processes.
  5. Deliver documents within tight timelines without compromising on quality.
  6. Ensure all documentation is scientifically sound, formatted correctly, and error-free.
  7. Show interest and initiative in leading a team and training junior members.
  8. Collaborate with team members and contribute to a supportive work environment.
  9. Adapt to frequent changes in client instructions or project requirements.
  10. Maintain high levels of productivity and efficiency while working independently.
  11. Stay available and responsive throughout the day via email and other communication channels.
  12. Work according to US-based working hours, including holiday coverage.
  13. Demonstrate excellent communication and language skills.
  14. Apply medical terminology knowledge accurately in writing and editing.

Job Timings: 5:30 AM-2:00 PM (8 hours of work with a 30-minute break)

Tenure: 2 years Contract (Offered after completion of a one-month initial training period)
