Details / requirements:
Job Specification – Medical Data Reviewer – (Office-Based)
Location: Balkumari, Gwarko, Lalitpur
Positions Available: 3
Shift Timing: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
Work Days: Monday to Friday (Saturday
& Sunday Off)
Time Zone: American work hours followed
Eligibility & Requirements
A minimum 18-month commitment is mandatory (Applicants unable to commit will not be considered) Training Period: 1 month (Paid) No leave will be granted during Dashain and Tihar Excellent English proficiency (spoken & written) is required IELTS/TOEFL scores preferred Strong academic background in medicine or health sciences (e.g., BSc Nursing, MBBS, BHMS, BPT) Typing Speed: Minimum 40 WPM Take the test here: https://www.typing.com/student/tests Submit a screenshot of your result with your CV Strong knowledge of Microsoft Word & Excel Willingness to work during US holidays Must be responsive throughout the shift (emails, tasks, notifications) Strong attention to detail and pattern recognition skills Ability to work independently and manage time efficientlyAdditional Skills & Knowledge:
Familiarity with medical terminology, abbreviations, and document structure Ability to interpret clinical context and extract relevant information accurately Experience with EHR systems, document viewers, or data entry tools High standards for documentation quality and consistency
Key Responsibilities
Medical Document Review
Review a range of clinical documents (progress notes, diagnostic reports, operative summaries, etc.) Understand and interpret content using medical knowledge and clinical context
Information Retrieval
Extract accurate and relevant data such as diagnoses, symptoms, procedures, medications, lab values, and provider notes Identify key clinical events and ensure completeness of information
Medical Judgment & Interpretation
Apply medical understanding to distinguish between pertinent and non-pertinent findings Validate data relevance based on the documentation's purpose
Data Entry & Structuring
Input extracted data into standardized templates or systems Ensure consistency, clarity, and correct formatting as per documentation guidelines
Collaboration & Quality Support
Communicate with the QA team for feedback, clarification, or escalations Participate in case discussions, especially for ambiguous or complex clinical scenarios
