Working for Access and Creation Nepal (WAC-Nepal) is nonprofit, non-government and nonpolitical humanitarian development organization has been implementing Community Based Disaster Risk Reduction (CBDRR) project in partnership with World Vision International Nepal. The project has been implementing in, Panchadewal Binayak Municiality and Turmakhand Rural Municipality of Achham District. WAC- Nepal is seeking qualified, dynamic and motivated Nepali citizens for Monitoring Evaluation Accountability and Learning (MEAL) Officer of the smooth implementation.
Position: MEAL Officer -1 Person (Based in Binayak, Achham)
Job purpose:
Under overall supervision and direction of board chairperson/board program focal person and direct technical supervision of the Project Coordinator, the purpose of the position will be responsible to provide technical support to program team on recording, compiling, verifying, analyzing and updating programme information, support programme in conducting quality monitoring visit, monitor complaint feedback system and provides periodic feedback to the programme team for data based decision making. Furthermore, this position will provide necessary support to WVI Nepal for periodic baseline, evaluation and outcome monitoring process in the assigned program areas and to improve the quality of programmes and information management through improved monitoring and accountability system in the programme areas.
Minimum Qualification and Experience required:
Bachelor’s degree in social science or development studies in the field relevant to MEAL. At least 2 years of experience working with I/NGO in the field of monitoring, evaluation accountability and learning sector. Experience in database management, data processing, analysis, and reporting in Ms. Excel sheets, use of database applications, feedback collection, registry, stories collection and documentation is highly preferred.
