International Nepal Fellowship (Nepal) is Non-Government Organization established in 1952 and serving poor and disadvantaged people of Nepal to enable life in its fullness through health and development service. INF Nepal is currently working in health and community development service in Gandaki, Lumbini, Karnali and Sudurpashim provinces of Nepal.

INF Nepal Green Pastures Hospital (GPH), Pokhara, serving peoples with specialized treatment and rehabilitation services in leprosy, dermatology, spinal cord injuries & other neglected trauma, ear car, palliative care etc. is looking for qualified, skilled, service oriented and committed Nepali citizens who share our vision, missions and values.

1. Position: Leprosy Strategy Manager

Required Number: 1

Location: GPH- Pokhara

Purpose of the Job:

To provide managerial leadership and oversight for the implementation of INFN’s Leprosy strategy, working with relevant INF Nepal departments and programmes in designing and implementing interventions and initiatives to achieve the goals of the strategy, lead the further development and improvement of INF leprosy services in line with international best practices, and ensure that lessons learned are integrated into project implementation to improve quality of interventions and outcomes. This position will also liaise with the Government of Nepal and other related stakeholders, and monitor donor compliance and reporting in Leprosy.

Required Qualifications, Skills, and knowledge:

  • Must have Master’s in public health or a master’s degree in a relevant field, MBBS with NMC registration is an advantage.
  • Minimum 3 years of professional experience in project management and experience in managing large, multi-year, multi-sectorial health-related projects and working with donor community.
  • Leprosy-related experience or training and experience in teaching, facilitation and research will be an advantage.
  • Proven skills in project planning, management and operation.
  • Strong technical skills and abilities in developing proposals, reports, and program modalities for effective implementation.
  • Ability to analyze and synthesize large amounts of information and utilize it in operations management and improvement.
  • Ability to coach, mentor and develop the technical and operational capacity of colleagues and team members.
  • Excellent skills in facilitation, team building and coordination between hospitals, community and government.
  • Proven ability in multitasking, working independently, flexibility and adaptability.
  • Good English Language skills (written and spoken) and good numeracy skills, good computer skills in Word and Excel.
  • Exhibits strong leadership qualities and decisiveness. Collaborative and collegial and able to work well with others.
  • High level of personal and professional integrity, and demonstrates high regard towards organization policies and regulations.
  • Willing to take on leadership and opportunities for improvement and can influence positive change within the organization.
  • Good understanding of, and agreement with INFs core values.

2. Position: PCCD Exercise Assistant

Required Number: 1

Location: GPH- Pokhara

Purpose of the Job:

To provide smooth running of PCCD gymnasium exercise and other programs, ensuring a no harm approach,

enabling adults and children with life-limiting illnesses to live as independently as possible; undertake appropriate training; contribute to education and training, and support data collection for ongoing research and audit projects undertaken by the service.

Required Qualifications, Skills, and knowledge:

  • Must have PCL/ 10+2 education. A bachelor’s degree in an appropriate health area is an advantage.
  • Must be prepared to undertake online training opportunities.
  • Must have 6 months of experience in exercise training (personal, group, or employment).
  • Experience in a health care setting is an advantage.
  • Knowledge and experience in program coordination are an advantage.
  • Ability to take initiative and work independently, but collaborate within a team.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Client-oriented approach and ability to liaise with patients, families, and other care providers.
  • Training in Basic life support skills (BLS) will be an advantage.
  • Ability to co-design and implement programs and protocols, to promote wellness.
  • Ability to provide exercise instruction and safety training/ guidance to clients to achieve required outcomes.
  • Experience with record keeping and clinical data collection will be an advantage.
  • Must have fluency in oral and written Nepali/ English.
  • Basic computer skills (MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
  • In agreement with the vision, mission, and values of INF.
