Social Service Centre (SOSEC) Nepal is an NGO dedicated to Human Rights, Peace Building and Integrated Rural Development in the Kalikot and Dailekh districts of Karnali province and Achham district of Sudur Pachhim Province of Nepal.  It works with a mission to enable marginalized people. SOSEC is implementing SAHAYATRA Project II (Quality Education, Child Protection, Child Right Governance) partnering with Save the Children in coordination of Gurans Rural Municipality at Dailekh district. For this, we seek application from competent and self-motivated Nepali citizen for the following position. The post is based in Dailekh (Gurans Rural Municipality).

Designation: Safe School Coordinator (Engineer/ Sub Engineer)-1

Specific Responsibilities:

• Manage overall process about School level construction and maintenance related interventions as like; need identification, design, estimation, monitoring, reporting and documentation of the intervention by the project.
• Coordination, cooperation with stakeholders and community mobilization for the construction and maintenance of school buildings.
• Provide Facilitation and support to SMC for Management of School Disaster Risk Riduction.
• Provide facilitation and support to SMC for implementation and incorporating DRR measures in School Improvement Plans.
• Facilitate to systematic and effective implementation of School Zonal Peace Area.
• Ensure the standard and quality of construction materials for renovation, reconstruction and construction works.

Qualification & Experiences:

• Education:-  Bachelor in Civil Engineering/Diploma in Civil Engineering with Bachelor in any Discipline and preferred to Bachelor in Civil Engineering and Female Candidates.
• Working experience 1 years for BE (Civil) and 3 years experience for Diploma in Civil Engineer with bachelor on any discipline and technical experience in supervision of community buildings construction works like buildings, health post, schools etc.
