Madhesh Human Rights(Mahuri) Home is an autonomous organization working continuously on Human rights, Peacebuilding, community development, Media advocacy, Social Accountability, Youth &Women empowerment sector since 2064 BS in Kapilvastu and other districts of province no. 5 and Province 4.

Mahuri Home has been implementing of SAHAJ Project with consortium lead partner 'VSO'. SAHAJ is a 25-month project funded through DFID’s Integrated Programme to Strengthen Security and Justice (IPSSJ) in Nepal. SAHAJ Project will be implemented in Seven districts in province no. 5 and one district in Province 4.

We seek to recruitthe following various positions under SAHAJ Project in Mahuri Home.

1.  position:  Livelihood Advisor (Officer Level) – 1                                                    Duty Station: Taulihawa, Kapilvastu

Role Overview:

Provides technical inputs in developing business plan and coordinating market survey analysis. Support in building linkage with government for benefiting from local government economic empowerment interventions. Support in expanding marketing and networking as required in implementing business plan.

Ensure the livelihood activities and smooth implementation to seed money distribution basis of business plan.To linkage in the office of cottage and small industries for women form registration and technical support provide by government line agencies to our families. And, to build effective working relationships within family centric local volunteer facilitators, GBV champions and program officers.

Required Education, Experience & Social Competence:

At least Bachelor's degree in management (BBS/BBM), preference will be given in MBS/MBA with at least 3 years experience of planning and managing projects in livelihoods, micro-enterprises/skill /Business development with multiple stakeholders, delivering expected benefits in challenging contexts.  Experience of line management of project team members. 

Job starting date: 1th November 2019 (For one year, possibility of extension).
