EXPRESSION OF INTEREST (EOI) 

Market Study of Dairy Business in Morang District

Rural Women Development Center (RWDC) is a non-governmental and non-profit making organization registered in District Administration Office, Morang. RWDC has its vision to empower rural woman through income generation, education, health and environment related interventions. With the technical and financial support of good Neighbors International (GNI)Nepal, RWDC has been implementing Employment Generation and Value Chain Development (EGVCD) project in Morang District.  

RWDC invites Expression of Interest (EOI) from interested consultant/firms to carry out Market Study of Dairy Business in Morang. 

Description of the work:

• Analyze the current demand and supply situation of Milk and Milk products,
• Suggest suitable interventions for the dairy cooperative to expand milk business in the area 
• Analyze cost benefit for establishing milk processing center in Letang Municipality, Morang

Required competencies:

• The consultant must have a master degree in Agricultural Economics, Agro Business, Business Management, Economics, and/or relevant sector with adequate understanding and experience on dairy value chain and marketing of milk. 
• S/he must possess excellent statistical and quantitative data analysis skill;
• S/he must be well versed in trade-related data, import/export transactions, and shall have knowledge of the policies, rules, and regulations pertaining to the dairy sector of Nepal.
