Welthungerhilfe/WHH is one of the largest private aid organisations in Germanywith a dual-mandate in both development cooperation and humanitarian aid.Non-profit making, non-denominational and politically independent, Welthungerhilfe fights against hunger and works together with civil society organizations in the countries where it operates. Welthungerhilfe’s vision is to create a world in which all people can exercise their right to a self-determined life in dignity and justice, free from hunger and poverty. In 2018, Welthungerhilfe supported 10.5million people with 404projectsin 37 countries.

WHH has been operational in Nepal since 2012 and has a current programme portfolio in 31 municipalities under four thematic areas: food and nutrition security, right to food and empowerment, disaster risk reduction, and WASH. Our overall goal is to work hand in hand with civil society in Nepal to empower socially marginalized and economically poor citizens to reinforce their resilience and to ensure their right to adequate food and nutrition.

Welthungerhilfe seeks Expression of Interest (EOI) from NGOs registered in Saptari district with experience in the WASH sector. Following are the documents to be submitted as part of the EOI:

1. Cover Letter,
2. NGO Profile (maximum 4 pages),
3. Latest annual report,
4. Registration certificate with a valid renewal upto end of Ashadh 2076,
5. Certificate of Affiliation with Social Welfare Council,
6. PAN registration,
7. Audited accounts of 3 recent fiscal years.
