IOS Developer

JOB DESCRIPTION

We are looking for an iOS developer responsible for the development and maintenance of applications aimed at a range of iOS devices including mobile phones and tablet computers and adding new features in our developed app. Your primary focus will be development of iOS applications and their integration with back-end services. You will be working alongside other engineers and developers working on different layers of the infrastructure. Therefore, a commitment to collaborative problem solving, sophisticated design, and the creation of quality products is essential.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design and build applications for the iOS platform
• Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications
• Help maintain code quality, organization, and automatization
• Hands-on development: analyse product specifications, design implementations, write code and rapidly deliver iOS app feature designs
• Contribute technical ideas and suggestions to enhance the direction of the product
• Work within an agile team (daily standups, weekly planning meetings)
• Creative thinking & abstract technical problem solving
• Participation in software design, estimation of development tasks, testing, QA process, pair programming, troubleshooting & code debugging
• Strong knowledge of latest Apple technologies and developer tools
• Experience in social network sdk integration - Facebook

SKILLS

• 2-3 years work experience in  iOS development, including: iOS SDK, CocoaTouch, Objective C, XCode, Swift/Swift(2), Interface Builder & Instruments
• Comfortable dealing with API's and utilising REST/JSON interfaces
• Knowledge of development methodologies & processes
• Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect iOS applications to back-end services
• Knowledge of other web technologies and UI/UX standards
• Passionate & has experience of Design
• Experience with Test Driven Development, Continuous Integration & Source Control system
• Experience with performance and memory tuning with tools

EDUCATION:

• BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject
