Rural Reconstruction Nepal (RRN) is a Nepalese non-governmental development organization working in the areas of integrated community development, agriculture, forestry, human rights, peace building and social justice, having strategic focus on protecting and promoting economic, social and cultural rights and right to development. We also work extensively on natural resource management, disaster management and climate change adaptation and mitigation activities. Its major interventions are directed towards poor, vulnerable and disadvantaged groups of people in rural areas.

Invitation of sealed bids for supplying Non-food items
Rural Reconstruction Nepal (RRN) with HUSADEC Nepal, with the support of Start Ready/Start Network, is implementing readiness and anticipatory action project in Kankai river basin of Jhapa district of Nepal. For this project, RRN intends to procure and supply Non-food items for this monsoon season (May to October 2026).
Eligible and interested suppliers are hereby invited to submit sealed bids under the following terms and conditions.
Documents to be Submitted with the Bid:
- A clearly filled price quotation (rate) excluding VAT for the listed items.
- Copy of registration certificate issued by the Government of Nepal (with valid renewal).
- Copy of PAN and VAT registration certificates.
- Copy of Tax Clearance Certificate of the last fiscal year.
- Evidence of at least 5 years of experience in supplying Non-food items along with recommendation/experience certificates from related organizations.
- Short company/Firm profile of the bidder.

Terms and Conditions:
1. Interested and eligible bidders must submit their bids in a sealed envelope, with all required documents, as specified above.
2. The quotation must include rates for all listed items. Partial quotations will be considered invalid.
3. There will be an immediate supply of 500 sets of NFIs (Summer blankets, P-foam mattresses, and Mosquito nets). An additional 1,500–2,000 sets would be supplied upon activation of flood triggers in the Kankai River
4. The completed bid documents must be submitted within Eight days from the date of publication, i.e., by 5th May 2026, at the Central Office of RRN, Gairidhara, Kathmandu.
- If the deadline falls on a public holiday, submission will be accepted on the next working day.
- Bids received after 5:00 PM on the final day will not be accepted.
5. The bid form can be downloaded from the RRN website: www.rrn.org.np
6. Bidders must print the material list and submit it along with the proposed rates and required documents in a properly sealed envelope.
- Each page must be stamped and signed by the authorized person.
- Any corrections in the quotation must be properly crossed out, rewritten, and signed with an official stamp.
7. Submitted bids will be evaluated by the Bid Evaluation Committee through comparative analysis.
8. Suppliers from Koshi province with prior experience in Non Food Items supply will be given the preference.
9. RRN reserves the full right to accept or reject any bid, either wholly or partially, without assigning any reason.
