1. Background

Women's Rehabilitation Centre (WOREC) is a prominent national non-governmental organization established in 1991 dedicated to preventing violence against women and girls, addressing its root causes, and ensuring the economic, social, and cultural well-being of women and marginalized groups. WOREC aims to promote women's human rights, eradicate structural discrimination, and achieve feminist aspirations through collective action. The organization's vision is a society where feminist goals are achieved, with the principles of decent work, bodily integrity, and identity.

2. Scope of Services

We are looking for venue partners for two upcoming residential training programs: 

• Phase 1 (June 21 – June 25, 2026): Hosting for 33 participants in Kathmandu.
• Phase 2 (June 25 – June 29, 2026): Hosting for 47 participants in Pokhara.
• Requirements: Arrival dinner, Full Board Package during the training days, departure day breakfast, and exclusive access to a fully equipped conference hall.

The hotel must be able to provide:

• Comfortable accommodation for participants
• Conference/meeting hall with necessary amenities
• Meals and refreshments during the event
• Disability-friendly services to ensure accessibility for all participants
• Additional services as per the detailed requirements

All specific requirements for accommodation, food and event logistics are outlined in the RFQ (Request for Quotation) sheet.

3. Pre-Qualification Criteria

To be considered eligible, interested hotels must be legally registered business entities. All bidders must submit the following materials alongside their formal proposal:

Required Legal Documentation:

• Copy of Company Registration
• Copy of PAN/VAT Registration
• Most recent Tax Clearance Certificate

Event & Catering Requirements:

• A comprehensive sample menu outlining the food items that will be offered across all days of the event.

4. Submission of Bids

All quotations must be submitted in a sealed envelope addressed to WOREC. 

• Submission Deadline: No later than 5:00 PM on June 6, 2026.
• Quotations received after the closing date and time will be considered invalid. 
• Envelopes submitted without sealing, or without the signature of the bidder, will be rejected. 
• Quotations submitted online will not be accepted. 

WOREC reserves the right to accept or reject any or all proposals without assigning any reason.
