KIRDARC Nepal is a non-governmental organization (NGO) dedicated to promoting the rights of marginalized and excluded communities through interventions in human rights, democracy, good governance, and inclusive development. The organization works to strengthen the capacities of rights holders, duty bearers, and civil society organizations to advance social justice, equitable access to opportunities and resources, and sustainable community development.

KIRDARC Nepal is implementing the "Bhotekoshi Flood Emergency Response" project in Rasuwa District, with support from World Vision International Nepal. The Emergency Relief and Early Recovery Project aims to provide timely emergency assistance to approximately 2,500 flood-affected households in Nuwakot District, prioritizing vulnerable and marginalized groups. The project focuses on food security, emergency shelter, WASH, and protection, along with community engagement, accountability, coordination, and post-distribution monitoring, in coordination with relevant government authorities and World Vision International Nepal.

To ensure the effective implementation of this project, KIRDARC Nepal invites applications from qualified, competent, self-motivated, and committed Nepali citizens to fill the following full-time positions:

1. Project Manager-Response – 1 Position based in Rsuwa

Academic Qualification and Experience: Applicants must have a degree in Disaster Management, Social Science, Development Studies, or a related field. Minimum 5 years of experience in managing humanitarian emergency response projects, with at least 2 years in a senior management role in NGO/INGO or development projects.

Key Skills and Knowledge required:- Strong leadership, team management, communication, and negotiation skills; ability to work under pressure and make critical decisions; fluency in Nepali and English, with Tamang or other local Rasuwa languages desirable; and willingness to travel extensively and stay in basic field accommodation.

2. Response Coordinator - 1 Positions based in Rasuwa

Academic Qualification and Experience: Applicants should have a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Public Health, Environment science, Development Studies). Minimum 4 years of experience in the humanitarian sector, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or coordination role.

Key Skills and Knowledge required:- Applicants should have strong leadership, coordination, communication, and report-writing skills, Strong understanding of emergency response standards (Sphere). Familiarity with the geographic and cultural context of the Rasuwa district.

3. Distribution and Cash Voucher Coordinator - 1 Positions based in Rasuwa

Academic Qualification and Experience: Applicants should have a master’s degree in management (specializing in Finance or Accounting) with at least 2 years of relevant experience, or a bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field with at least 5 years of relevant experience.

Key Skills and Knowledge required:- Applicants should have proven experience at least 4 years of humanitarian sector experience, including expertise in Cash and Voucher Assistance (CVA), CTP modalities, and FSPs in Nepal. Experience in emergency NFI/food distribution and proficiency in Excel, KoBo Toolbox, or similar data management tools is required.

4. Finance and Administration Coordinator - 1 Positions based in Rasuwa

Academic Qualification and Experience: Applicants should have a bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field. A professional qualification like CA, ACCA, or CPA is an asset. Proven experience in managing budgets of significant size in an emergency response context.Strong knowledge of accounting software and advanced Excel skills.

Key Skills and Knowledge required:- High integrity, honesty, and ethical standards, with strong attention to detail, accuracy, analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and communicate fluently in Nepali and English.

5. Supply Chain Coordinator - 1 Positions based in Sanepa, Lalitpur

Academic Qualification and Experience: bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field. Minimum 4 years of experience in logistics and procurement, with at least 2 years in an emergency response setting. 

Key Skills and Knowledge required:- Sound knowledge and proven experience in managing complex supply chains in challenging and emergency contexts, including sourcing, procurement, logistics, inventory, and fleet management, with a good understanding of organizational, donor, and regulatory compliance requirements.

6. Wash Officer - 1 Positions based in Rasuwa

Academic Qualification and Experience: Bachelor’s degree in public health, Environmental Science, Civil/Sanitary Engineering, or a related field. Minimum 3 years of professional experience, with at least 1–2 years in humanitarian emergency WASH response (preferably flood/landslide contexts).

Key Skills and Knowledge required:- Strong technical knowledge of emergency water treatment systems, gravity-flow systems, and participatory hygiene promotion tools (PHAST/CHAST).

7. Livelihood Officer- 1 Positions based in Rasuwa

Academic Qualification and Experience: Applicants should have a bachelor’s degree in agriculture, Economics, Development Studies, Business Administration, or a related field. Minimum 3 years of experience in livelihood recovery, cash-based interventions (CBI), or economic development projects in rural settings.

Key Skills and Knowledge required:- Proven experience in community mobilization, beneficiary targeting, and working with local cooperatives or farmers' groups. Deep understanding of rural livelihood systems in mountain regions like Rasuwa.

8. Education and Protection Officer - 1 Positions based in Rasuwa

Academic Qualification and Experience: Applicants should have a bachelor’s degree in education, Social Work, Psychology, Human Rights, Gender Studies, or a related field. Minimum 3 years of experience in emergency education, child protection, or community protection programming.

Key Skills and Knowledge required:- Familiarity with international standards (Minimum Standards for Child Protection in Humanitarian Action, EiE standards). Empathetic communication skills and fluency in Nepali and English languages

9. Health and Nutrition Officer- 1 Positions based in Rasuwa

Academic Qualification and Experience: Applicants should have a bachelor’s degree in public health, Nursing, Nutrition, or a related medical field (Registered Nurse/Public Health Inspector preferred). Minimum 3 years of experience in public health, emergency health response, or nutrition programming.

Key Skills and Knowledge required:- Strong familiarity with Nepal’s public health system, health posts, and the role of FCHVs. Strong community mobilization and health education skills.

10. Admin/Logistic Officer- 1 Positions based in Rasuwa

Academic Qualification and Experience: Applicants should have a bachelor’s degree in business administration, Management, Supply Chain, or a related field. Minimum 2–3 years of professional experience in administration, logistics, or supply chain management, preferably within an emergency humanitarian context.

Key Skills and Knowledge required:- Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask under high-pressure conditions.Knowledge of Rasuwa district roads, local transport syndicates, and geography is a strong asset.

11. Communication and Information Officer- 1 Positions based in Sanepa, Lalitpur

Academic Qualification and Experience: Applicants should have a bachelor’s degree in journalism, Mass Communication, Media Studies, Development Studies, or a related field. Minimum 2–3 years of experience in communications, reporting, or public relations, ideally in the humanitarian or development sector.

Key Skills and Knowledge required:- Excellent writing, editing, and storytelling skills in both Nepali and English. Proficiency in multimedia tools (photography, basic video editing, graphic design/infographics).
