Full Stack Web Developer (PHP Laravel)

Role Description:

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Full Stack Web Developer (PHP Laravel) based in Kathmandu. The developer will design, develop, and maintain web applications using PHP Laravel on the back end and modern front-end technologies to support the company’s digital platforms. Daily responsibilities include building and optimizing APIs, implementing responsive user interfaces, integrating databases, and ensuring secure, scalable solutions. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, troubleshoot issues, and deploy new features, as well as writing clean, testable code and maintaining documentation. The developer will also help improve system performance, participate in code reviews, and support ongoing enhancements to internal and student-facing systems.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Back-End Web Development skills, including PHP Laravel, RESTful APIs, database design (MySQL or similar), and application security practices.
• Candidates should possess Front-End Development skills, such as HTML, Cascading Style Sheets (CSS), JavaScript, and experience with responsive, user-friendly interfaces.
• Candidates should possess Software Development and Full-Stack Development skills, including object-oriented programming, version control (Git), and integration of front-end and back-end components.
• Relevant skills such as experience with Laravel ecosystem tools, build pipelines, and debugging across the stack are beneficial.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Ability to work on-site in Kathmandu, collaborate in a team environment, manage multiple tasks, and deliver solutions within deadlines.
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and familiarity with secure coding and performance optimization best practices.
• Experience in the education or consulting sector, and an interest in creating tools that support learners, is an added advantage.
