Details / requirements:

A fast-growing cross-border e-commerce startup operating in the Middle East and Europe, with a team in Kathmandu, is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented operation officer to support its expansion.

Responsibilities:

  • Respond to customer inquiries and resolve issues via chat and email.

  • Process orders, returns, and exchanges.

  • Escalate complex issues as needed.

  • Follow up with suppliers to track and expedite pending orders.

  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and supplier follow-ups.

  • Support the content team with content creation tasks as needed.

  • Identify and escalate complex or high-priority issues to the appropriate departments.

  • Collaborate with team members and other departments to improve processes and customer service standards.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration (BBA/BBS) or a related field.

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in customer service.

  • Proven experience in customer service or operations.

  • Fluent in English with excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Able to articulate mails and messages from customers and reply

  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.

  • Familiarity with Google Sheets and MS Excel.

  • Knowledge of content creation tools and practices is a plus.

  • Must be comfortable working the night shift.

  • Must have a laptop.
