Field Coordinator
Research Inputs and Development Action (RIDA) is a Nepal based international research firm with plenty of experiences and expertise in research, evaluation, assessment and advocacy in various development sector. It was established in 1982 with an objective to provide research support to development interventions so as to ensure evidence led development practices. Its first task was to help Government in conducting baseline survey for first ever education project in Nepal (Education for Rural Development Project in Seti Zone Project). Since then, RIDA has been providing research support to government and non-state actors in designing, implementing, and monitoring/evaluating development initiatives based on research findings. RIDA has its presence in three geographical regions: South Asia, Asia-Pacific, and Africa. It has working partnership relations with various international agencies.

Qualification/Experience:
Master’s degree (preferred) or Bachelor' degree in development studies or related discipline with a minimum three years' experience in the related field. Knowledge on Monitoring and Evaluation, research work, field activities management and coordination are a must.
Responsibilities:
Manage and oversee field-level operations and financial activities.
Key Tasks
- Develop work plan periodically for field activities in coordination with central office.
- Coordinate and monitor activities of all the field staffs.
- Oversee day to day operations at field level and ensure proper utilization of the resources.
- Work in close coordination with concerned stakeholders.
- Work out program activities with inter-related activities to ensure optimum efficiency and compliance with appropriate policies, procedures and specifications.
- Prepare periodic reports and records of program activities
- Coordinate at field level to hold meetings and workshops.
- Liaison with local level Implementing Partners, government line agencies, and local community agencies.
- Support and monitor interns in the field.
