Since then, RDC is heavily engaged in humanitarian assistance, community development, conservation of natural resources, and environmental protection mainly in the Terai region of Nepal through the dozens of humanitarian and long-term development projects reaching out to the children, adolescent, youth, women, landless, urban poor, and people living with disabilities, HIV & AIDS, conflict and disaster survivors from the poor families of historically marginalized Dalits, Muslims, Madheshi and Indigenous communities and other underprivileged groups.

Rural Development Centre (RDC) Nepal (RDC Nepal) is a non-profit, non-political, and non-governmental organization established in May 2002 with its head office in Rautahat District, Madhesh Province, Nepal. RDC Nepal has been implementing humanitarian and long-term development programs focusing on climate resilience, sustainable, disaster risk reduction, natural resource management, livelihoods, child protection, nutrition and social inclusion, particularly for vulnerable and marginalized communities across the Terai region.

Since October 2025, RDC Nepal has been implementing Integrated Programme Framework (IPF) project in partnership with WVI Nepal in Garuda and Madhavnarayan municipalities of Rautahat district. The projects aims to ensure that all children experience an environment of nurturing care for their growth and development, Families are empowered and resilient for the well-being of children, Communities create a safe, learning, and healthy environment for all children and Government systems are functional and are inclusive and accessible at all levels to address child well-being issues.

As part of the project's learning and child participation initiatives, RDC Nepal is organizing a Two-Days Workshop on Creation of Most Significant Change (MSC) Stories for Transformation for registered children from the working project areas. The workshop aims to build children's capacity to identify, reflect upon, and document the positive changes they have experienced through their participation in project interventions. These stories will serve as valuable evidence of change while empowering children to express their experiences, voices, and aspirations confidently. To facilitate this workshop effectively, RDC Nepal intends to hire an experienced Individual Consultant with strong facilitation skills and experience working with children.

Deliverables:

  • Detailed workshop agenda and facilitation plan prior to the event. 
  • Facilitation of the one-day workshop as per the approved schedule.
  • Child-friendly learning materials and facilitation tools.
  • Technical support to participants for preparing individual MSC stories. 
  • Brief workshop completion report highlighting key achievements, participant engagement, lessons learned, and recommendations. 
  • Soft copies of photographs and other relevant documentation.

Evaluation Criteria:

Technical Proposal: 70%

Financial Proposal: 30%

Technical Proposal shall include, at a minimum:

  • Signed TOR; 
  • Proposed methodology; 
  • Work plan and implementation schedule; 
  • Quality assurance measures; 
  • Risk management strategy; 
  • CV of key personnel; 
  • Relevant experience;
  • Firm/Company registration certificate with renewal 
  • PAN/VAT certificate 
  • Tax clearance certificate for the FY 2082/083  
  • A duly signed Code of Conduct (CoC) and Conflict of Interest (COI).

Financial Proposal: All costs associated with the assignment shall be included in the financial proposal.

Consultancy Service Timeline: All deliverables should be accomplished by 25 August 2026.

Detailed scope of work, deliverables, evaluation criteria and qualification requirements are provided in the attached Terms of Reference (TOR).
