Qualitative Lead Researcher for the Climate Change, Gender and Fragility Research

For over 30 years, International Alert has been working to build positive peace and reduce violence, working across conflict lines and with all parties to conflicts. Experienced and respected, International Alert have a proud track record of achieving change in fragile and conflict-affected countries and territories. In Nepal, we collaborate with communities, civil society, the private sector, the government and the international development partners to strengthen citizen-state relationship for open, inclusive, and accountable federal governance to sustain peace. Objectives of the assignment is to conduct semi-ethnographic research in two Palikas; One in Province 2 and one in Sudurpachim to understand the impact of climate change across the communities specifically focusing on women and marginalized communities.

International Alert invite interested individuals or firms to submit their EOI with application, CV of the Lead Researcher and the NPR Daily Rates of the Lead Researcher. Having two field researchers CVs and daily rates will add value during the selection process.

Interested candidates need to submit application including technical and financial proposal with the PAN number if the budget exceed 5 lakhs candidates need to submit VAT registration document at nepal@international-alert.org. The deadline for submission of the proposal is 29th Nov 2021.
