EXPRESSION OF INTEREST (EOI)

Upcoming 15 MW hydropower project invites Expressions of Interest (EOI) from eligible and qualified Civil Contractors, Electro- Mechanical Equipment Suppliers, and Hydro-Mechanical Fabricators/Suppliers for the development/execution of a Hydropower Project.

1. Project Overview

The project is a Run-of-River type scheme with an installed capacity of 15 MW located 80 Km Radius from Kathmandu. The scope of work generally includes:

• Civil Works: Barrage/Dam, Headrace Tunnel/Channel, Desilting Basin, Surge Shaft, Penstock, Powerhouse, and Tailrace.
• Hydro-Mechanical Works: Design, supply, and installation of Penstocks, Gates (Intake, Spillway, etc.), Hoists, and Trash Racks.
• Electro- Mechanical Works: Supply, installation, testing, and commissioning of Turbines (e.g., Pelton/Kaplan/Francis), Generators, Transformers, Switchyard equipment, and Control & Protection Systems.

2. Eligibility & Qualification Requirements

Interested applicants must demonstrate:

• Legal Status: Valid company registration, VAT/PAN certificates, and tax clearance.
• Experience: Successful completion of at least 5 similar hydropower projects (of comparable size and complexity) within the last 10 years.
• Financial Capability: Audited financial statements for the last three (3) years showing a healthy financial standing and adequate access to credit lines.
• Technical Personnel: Availability of key professional staff (Engineers, Geologists, etc.).

3. Submission Requirements

Interested firms must submit the following documents (One Original and [Number] Copies) in a sealed envelope clearly marked "EOI for Category: Civil / Electro-Mechanical / Hydro-Mechanical]:

1. Application Letter: Covering letter on official letterhead detailing the firm's interest and contact information (Address, Phone, Email).

2. Company Profile: Organizational structure, ownership details, and year of establishment.

3. Legal Documents: Certificate of Incorporation, Power of Attorney (POA) for the signatory, and Joint Venture Agreement (if applicable).

4. Experience & Past Performance:

• List of completed/similar projects with project value, client details, and completion certificates.
• Details of current litigation (if any).
