Backward Society Education (BASE) is a leading NGO officially registered in 1991 in Dang with DAO and SWC. BASE has been working in the field of renewable energy ,  education  livelihood support, child labor elimination, women empowerment, income generation, support for sustainable democracy, human rights violation monitoring, conflict mitigation, water and sanitation, environmental sustainability, disaster preparedness and response, infrastructure support, protection and promotion of traditional  indigenous culture and support as well as increasingly working with beneficiaries from other marginalized communities.

BASE intents to recruit qualified and experienced Nepalese citizen for the following position:

Post: Enterprise Development Coordinator (EDC)

Project Name: National Rural and Renewable Energy Program (NRREP)/Productive Energy Use Component (PEUC)/AEPC

Working area: Rukum, Rolpa, Salyan, Pyuthan, Dang, Dolpa and Arghakhanchi 

REQUIRED QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• Bachelor's degree in relevant subject with at least 1 year of relevant (MSME, livelihood and income generation activities) working experiences. 
• Intermediate in relevant field and 4 years experiences with at least 3 years of working experiences in relevant field (MSME promotion and income generation activities) 

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITY:

• Assist to (Business Promotion Officer) BPO in developing monitoring plan of the established MSMEs and IGAs.
• Monitor the establishment/upgrading of MSMEs and IGAs 
• Coordinate capacity building activities for supporting MSMEs and IGA.
• Facilitate to organize various trainings/ seminar/ workshop at district level as per requirements
• Document best practices and lessons learned and reports of the events 
• Work in close coordination with entrepreneurs and LED/ Management Committee
• Facilitate establishment of MSMEs and implementing IGA in RE catchment area
• Other assigned work by Team Leader/BPO
