Sundar Nepal Sanstha (BNA) is Non-profit, Social Development Organization devoted to deliver the services to the community is working the “Building Hope along Karnali River Basin (BHAKARI) Program in partnership with Mercy Corps Nepal. The project is implementing in Chaukune Rural Municipality, Panchapuri Municipality and Barahatal Rural Municipality of Surkhet District. Sundar Nepal Sanstha is seeking qualified, dynamic and motivated Nepali citizens for the following positions in order to implement the BHAKARI program in its working areas.

Position: DRR/NRM Supervisor 1 Person (Field based Panchapuri-5)

Minimum Qualification and Experience: Bachelor's degree in DRM/NRM or other relevant discipline having 3 years' experience in Disaster Risk Reduction (DRR) and/or Natural Resource Management (NRM) particularly conducting risk assessment and risk mitigating planning using participatory risk assessment and planning tools.

Major Responsibility: The DRR/NRM Supervisor will work as a technical person and is responsible for planning and conducting the integrated community risks assessment and planning, and the implementation and monitoring of the disaster risk reduction interventions. Build strong coordination and linkages with the Community Disaster Management Committees (CDMCs), Local Disaster Management Committees (LDMCs) to enhance disaster preparedness and response capacity. Furthermore, supervisor will also be responsible for NRM intervention such as CFUG annual plan preparation, Multi-purpose nursery establishment, Bio-engineering implementation, NTFP promotion etc.
