Akasha Academy is currently looking for a Driver cum Logistics at the Headquarters site in Suntakhan, Gokarneshwor Municipality.

Role of the position
The role of the Driver cum Logistics includes the operation of two-wheeler and four-wheeler to safely transport personnel, goods, or materials as required by the organization. It also includes the logistics of the pickup and delivery of procured goods and products. The ideal candidate will ensure timely and secure travel while maintaining the vehicle in good condition. For the position, daily presence at the premises in Suntakhan (Gokarneshwor) will be required. The ideal candidate would be ready to relocate or stay nearby Boudha area during the working week.
Contract period
Initially 1 year, with the possibility of extension; long-term engagement envisioned
Tasks and responsibilities:
- Safely transport products to designated locations, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to schedules
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure optimal performance and safety
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel consumption, and delivery confirmations
- Communicate effectively with team members and clients to coordinate schedules and address any concerns
- Adhere to all traffic regulations and company policies to promote a safe driving environment.
- Coordination of logistics for the pickup and delivery of goods and products
- Support the transportation for community events and market stalls
- Occasional evening and weekend work
- other tasks as per necessity and upon mutual agreement
Required skills and experience:
- At least 3 years of experience in driving 4-wheeler
- Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record
- Previous experience in a driving or logistics role preferred
- The capability to manage schedules of multiple topics and to manage unexpected situations calmly and in a flexible way,
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Solid command of Nepali both written and verbal,
- At least basic English language skills both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team of different social and cultural backgrounds,
- Punctuality, reliability and loyalty
