Vacancy Announcement

Sansthagat Bikas "Sanjal" is a networking NGO comprising of 18 NGOs and CBNOs from 11 districts, and works in the areas of peace building, NGO governance and organizational capacity building. Sansthagat Bikas Sanjal would like to announce a vacancy for the following position for the execution of Strengthening Collaboration for Sustainable Development (SCSD) Project.

Position: Coordinator- 1

Duty Station: Kathmandu with 50% field visits to remote districts.

Qualification and work experiences: 

• Minimum Bachelors degree with 5 years or Masters Degree with 2 years experiences in organisation development, capacity building and strategy development.
• Skill, knowledge and experience in fund raising and proposal development.
• Experience on communication and co-ordination with I/NGOs and government agencies. 
• Project design, planning, implementation, monitoring,
• Skills on lobbing and advocacy.  
• Proficiency in spoken and written English

Main Responsibilities:

1. Overall coordination among the Member Organisations  (MOs) and support to proposal writing, donor linkage, capacity enhancement and good governance. 
2. Support to prepare strategic and sustainability plan of MOs.
3. Overall coordination, Planning, Implementation, Monitoring and Follow up project activities in project areas.
4. Prepare periodic reports and submit to Sanjal Board and funding partners.
5. Design and facilitate Organisational development process of NGOs and CBOs and PME trainings as per project needs.
6. Explore funding organization inside and outside Nepal and develop project proposals.
7. Share call or Expression of Interest (EoI) and circulate to the MOs.
8. Supervise staff members and carry out performance review.
9. Coordinate with key stakeholders for project execution.
