We are looking for an honest, professional, hardworking, and multi-skilled Cook to join our growing team.

What You'll Do

• Prepare delicious Nepali, Indian & light Continental dishes
• Handle à la carte, group bookings, banquets & event catering
• Maintain excellent food quality, hygiene, and consistency
• Control food costing, portion sizes, wastage, and inventory
• Support menu development and kitchen efficiency
•  Work closely with the team to deliver an outstanding guest experience

• Experienced in hotel, resort, or banquet kitchen operations (preferred)

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook Nepali, Indian, and Continental dishes according to standard recipes.
• Ensure consistent food quality, taste, portion size, and presentation.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the kitchen, equipment, and workstations.
• Follow food safety and sanitation standards at all times.
• Monitor food inventory and ensure proper storage using the FIFO (First In, First Out) method.
• Minimize food wastage through proper stock utilization and portion control.
• Prepare menu costing and accurately calculate food costs while maintaining standard recipe portions.
• Assist in menu planning and suggest new dishes or seasonal specials.
• Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation and delivery of orders.
• Inspect ingredients for freshness and quality before use.
• Report stock shortages and kitchen equipment issues to management.
• Maintain accurate records of stock usage and kitchen supplies.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, hygiene standards, and health regulations.           

Experience

Minimum 2 years of experience as a Cook in a hotel or resort. Candidates with hotel/resort experience will be preferred.
