FHI 360 Nepal invites applications from qualified individuals with relevant academic qualifications, experience and expertise for consultancy services under the following position:

  • Develop and operationalize social enterprise strategies to ensure financial continuity of lifesaving HIV services for community-based organizations (CBOs) with differentiated approaches based on organizational maturity
  • Conduct and submit a Market Opportunity Scan Report analyzing 3-4 viable social enterprise models for CBOs including minimum viable design (MVD), demand, customer segments, pricing structures, and competitive landscape. 
  • Provide differentiated SE technical support inclusive of linking CBOs with Industrial Enterprise Development Institute (IEDI), Nepal Social Entrepreneurship Forum and Social Entrepreneurship Board. 
  • Support CBOs to develop a 5‑year sustainability and self‑reliance roadmap, including revenue diversification strategies.
  • Strengthen internal financial and operational systems (basic accounting, cost allocation, unit cost cards, audit readiness) to support sustainable SE operations.
  • Build funding diversification and revenue generation plans for CBOs covering both private and public funding sources.
  • Develop domestic resource mobilization plans, advocacy strategies, and public financing strategies for CBOs
  • Strengthen internal financial and operational systems (basic accounting, cost allocation, unit cost cards, audit readiness) to support sustainable SE operations.
  • Final report of the consultancy for social enterprises, social contracting and domestic resource mobilization.
Master’s degree in economics, business Studies or relevant
  • At least five years’ experience in social enterprise development (strategy to implementation)
  • Proven track record in domestic resource mobilization specifically for non-government organizations (NGOs) within Nepal, including demonstrated success in mobilizing funds from local government mechanisms, private-sector sources, and community-based financing channels.
  • Deep understanding of Nepal’s institutional context, including NGOs, CBOs, social enterprises, government systems
  • Experience in advocacy and government engagement
  • Excellent facilitation, training, writing, and communications skills in English and Nepali
