Protection Nepal, in partnership with the United mission to Nepal (UMN is implementing the “Integrated Community Health Project (ICHP) Project at Nijgadh Municipality Bara District. This project aims to enhance the well-being of targeted communities in Nijgadh by improving social, physical, and mental health outcomes.

Protection Nepal invites applications from qualified, committed, and motivated Nepali citizens consultant for the following purposes as mentioned in TOR attached:

YPSG Session Guideline_TOR

Scope of Work:

The consultant will develop a Youth Peer Support Group Session Guideline for psychosocial worker/project staff/ counsellors to support adolescents and youth in preventing and managing substance use disorders. The guidelines will include structured sessions, counselling techniques, practical tools, and referral guidance.

Duration:

Short-term consultancy (expected 4–5 weeks)

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• Master's degree in psychology, counselling, social work, public health, or related field
• Minimum 3 years of experience in psychosocial counselling, adolescent/youth mental health, or substance abuse programs
• Proven experience in developing counselling manuals or guidelines as well as providing training in Psychosocial counselling, adolescent/youth mental health, substance abuse and harmreduction programs
• Excellent writing skills in English; proficiency in Nepali
• Indepth knowledge of adolescent mental health, substance use, and harm reduction approaches
