International Nepal Fellowship (Nepal) is a non-Government Organization that was established in 1952 and serves the poor and disadvantaged people of Nepal to enable life to its fullness through health and development services. In Nepal, INF Nepal is now providing health and community development services in the provinces of Gandaki, Lumbini, Karnali, and Sudurpaschim.
For the following position, INF Nepal Shining Hospital, Banke and Green Pastures Hospital, Pokhara, is seeking competent, skilled, service-oriented, and devoted Nepali citizens who share our vision, mission, and values.
1. Consultant Dermatologist Required Number: 1 Location: Shining Hospital, Banke
Purpose of the Job:
The job holder is responsible for contributing towards setting up, developing, maintaining, and enhancing the technical standard of the dermatology and leprosy care of Shining Hospital INF Banke, aiming to make SHIB a specialized hospital for the care of Leprosy and dermatology care in the western part of Nepal.
Required Qualifications, Skills, and knowledge:
- Must have an MD in Dermatology, registered at Nepal Medical Council, with a minimum of three years of post-qualification experience in a clinical setting.
- Practical work experience in supporting and managing public relations and general administration, procurement, and asset management.
- Must have leadership and cross-cultural skills.
- Must have good knowledge of coaching/ mentoring and a proactive approach.
- Must be able to work in a multi-disciplinary clinical team setting.
- Able to demonstrate INF Nepal Values in one work.
2. Position: Medical Officer Required Number: 3 Location: Green Pastures Hospital, Pokhara
Purpose of the Job:
The post holder oversees all the medical work of the inpatient and outpatient units of GPH, providing technical input and support, ensuring the smooth running of the inpatient unit, and achieving an excellent standard of care for the patients in a holistic manner.
Required Qualifications, Skills, and knowledge:
- Must have an MBBS Degree, registered at Nepal Medical Council with a minimum of one year of post-qualification clinical experience, however fresher can apply.
- Must demonstrate sensitivity and confidentiality.
- Must have leadership skills, cross-cultural skills, and interpersonal and communication skills.
- Must be able to use manual or automated hospital equipment.
- Good clinical history-taking, examination, and making relevant differential diagnosis skills.
- Must have basic computer skills- Office Package and other software/systems related to hospitals.
- Able to ensure and demonstrate INF Values in work and dealing with others.
3. Disability Technical Coordinator Required Number: 1 Location: Central Office, Pokhara
Purpose of the Job:
To provide leadership, capacity building, and technical support (community-based rehabilitation) for the mainstreaming of disability in all projects and development of strategies and methodologies to promote disability inclusion in both treatment and development contexts of INF Nepal.
Required Qualifications, Skills, and knowledge:
- Must have a Master’s in Social Sciences, Humanities, or any relevant subject, with a minimum of five years of experience in disability-related work in the social development space or a hospital setting.
- Must have experience in and a clear understanding of the project management life cycle regarding disability inclusion and disability projects and the implementation of those projects at the district level.
- Good understanding of project planning, design, and budgeting.
- Must have experience in facilitating capacity-building training and curriculum development on disability-related thematic areas.
- Experience in church and disability or theology of disability work.
- Must have strong interpersonal skills.
- Proficient communication skills (spoken and written) in both English and Nepali.
- Good computer literacy (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Willing and able to travel extensively to all INF work areas.
- Being a role model and genuinely supporting INFs mission and vision as well as passionately demonstrating INF’s Values in work settings and relationships.
