CIVIL Engineer/Environmental Engineer/Research Assistant

A National Level NGO Vacancy for Various Positions

A national-level reputed NGO working in the renewable energy sector is looking for a competent candidate who will be responsible for designing, developing, implementing and monitoring the renewable energy and climate change programs in Nepal.

1. Title of Job: CIVIL Engineer

Experience: Minimum 4 years’ of work experience in renewable energy sector mainly on feasibility study, design, drawing, estimate and supervision, quality control and quality assurance. H/She has experience on working with Infrastructure, Environment, Climate Change, and renewable energy program. Knowledge on MS office Package and AutoCAD. 

Education: Minimum Master's or Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Environmental Engineering or Renewable Energy Engineering or other relevant Engineering discipline. MBA/MBS will be an added asset.

2. Title of Job: Environmental Engineer

Experience: Minimum 3 years’ work experience in the Research and Development (R&D)sector mainly in renewable energy, Climate Change and Environment. Publication in the international or national journal will be an added advantage. Fluent in both English and Nepali language. Knowledge on MS office Package, AutoCAD and Research Software. Knowledge on GIS will be an added advantage 

Education: Minimum Master's or bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering or other relevant Engineering discipline.

3. Title of Job: Research Assistant

Experience: Minimum 2 years’ of work experience in the Research and Development (R&D)sector mainly in renewable energy, Climate Change and Environment. Fluent in both English and Nepali languages. Knowledge on MS office Package and research software.

Education: Minimum Master’s or bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering/ Science/ Management or Renewable Energy Engineering orClimate Change orother relevant discipline.

Age Limit: Nepali citizens between 25 to 40 years old.

Salary and Incentives: Attractive salary and incentives based on the bye-laws of the NGO.

Driving License: At least license of two-wheelers. 

Probation Period: 6 months probation period from the date of appointment.
