Vacancy Announcement – Caretaker (Live-in Position)

Sunrise Nepal is a non-governmental organisation working to protect children and ensure they grow up in a safe and caring family environment.

We are seeking a dedicated Caretaker (live-in) for our Child Care Home in Nuwakot. The caretaker will act as a guardian and role model for children—providing care, emotional support, and guidance, while ensuring their daily needs such as hygiene, feeding, and schooling are met.

Main Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):

• Provide love, care, and protection to children in a home-like environment
• Support children’s emotional, educational, and social development
• Maintain cleanliness, discipline, and safety within the home
• Coordinate with the manager and staff for children’s overall well-being
• Keep basic records related to children’s daily routines and needs

Minimum Qualifications and Preferences:

• Completed Class 12 (higher education preferred)
• Willing to live and work in a residential setting
• Relevant experience, internship, or volunteer background
• Female candidate with maturity and a valid scooter/motorcycle driving licence (preferred)
