CALL FOR PROPOSAL

NGO Federation of Nepal (NFN) is an umbrella organization cum national platform of more than 6700 NGOs working in various fields of social welfare and development in Nepal. Established in 1991 to promote and protect social justice, human rights, civic space, and pro-poor development, NFN has evolved into a leading organization for the civil society movement in Nepal. It is actively working to unite, organize, capacitate, and mobilize NGOs, aiming to create a peaceful, democratic, and just society.

In the aftermath of the Bhotekoshi-Rasuwa flood disaster, NFN is planning to make a systematic assessment to evaluate how CSO interventions in the flood response have addressed the intersecting dimensions of climate justice and human rights, generating evidence to inform future disaster governance and civil society engagement in climate-vulnerable regions. In this connection, NFN invited a “Call for Proposals” from interested individuals or firms for this assessment.

For details, see the attached Terms of Reference (ToR). Applicants should submit a proposal package to NFN in sealed envelopes or through email at ‘info@ngofederation.org’ no later than 6th November 2026, before 5:00 PM. The package should include:

  • A detailed proposal with assessment methodology/plan and timetable of all phases (not more than 5 pages);
  • A proposed budget with breakdown.
  • Brief bios (CVs) of the key personnel to be engaged in the assessment;
  • Examples of previous work and affiliations with any organizations for similar work nature;
  • Renewed organization registration certificate, tax clearance certificate, and other related legal documents, along with the Organizational Profile.
