PURPOSE

We are seeking a diverse roster of consultants with expertise in various areas aligned with SAPPROS-NEPAL and its implemented / anticipated projects/activities objectives and mission. These consultants will support different aspects of development program implementation, monitoring, and evaluation.  

REQUIRED AREA OF EXPERTISE

SAPPROS-NEPAL invites qualified consultants to express their interest in joining the SAPPROS-NEPAL’s Expert Roster. Consultants should have expertise in at least one of the following thematic areas to deliver professional services.

2. Agriculture Expert
3. Livestock Expert
4. Field Coordinator 
5. District Liaison Officer
6. GIS Specialist
7. Soil Scientist
8. DRR Expert
9. Climate Change Adaptation (CCA) Expert
10. Data Analyst
11. Health and Nutrition Research Expert 
12. Document Designer
13. Proof Reading
14. Videography
15. Policy, Advocacy and Knowledge Management Specialist

Location: Consultancy can be home based, field based or on-site based as required by SAPPROS-NEPAL.

General Requirements for All Candidates

• Work Environment: Willingness to travel to and stay in any project districts of all 7 Provinces.
• Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Nepali.
• Ethics: High level of integrity and commitment to social inclusion and environmental safeguarding.

EVALUATION CRITERIA

Applicants will be screened against qualifications and the competencies specified above for each thematic area. The inclusion into the Roster of Consultant will be offered to those individual consultants whose application have been evaluated and determined as 

(a) responsive/compliant/acceptable, and 

(b) having received high scores specific to the solicitation.

CONTRACTING ARRANGEMENT

The successful candidates will be included in SAPPROS-NEPAL’s technical expert roster. Entry into the expert roster system does not necessarily mean that contract with SAPPROS-NEPAL is guaranteed. This will depend on forthcoming needs. Where a request for services arises, the SAPPROS-NEPAL shall directly contact the consultant from the roster. A specific Term of Reference (ToR) outlining the outputs for each assignment shall be provided and an Individual Contract will be issued to the consultant following a successful negotiation and agreement.

Interested individuals should submit an updated Curriculum Vitae with a minimum of two referees, Copy of citizenship certificate, PAN/VAT registration certificate, Samples of previous work, Experience/Recommendation letter from previous clients.

You are required to rename your documents as: Thematic Areas_ Full Name, (for example : if you are applying for Deputy Team Leader then the file name should be:  Deputy Team Leader_ Your Full Name )  and the document submitted should be in PDF format.
