Call for Expression of Interest (EoI) for implementation of

ZSL Nepal project: “Communities for Conservation: Strengthening Co-Management of Terrestrial and Freshwater Ecosystems for Rhinoceros, Gharials, and Community Well-Being”

Zoological Society of London-Nepal Office (ZSLN) is an international NGO working in Nepal since 2014 in the lowland Protected Area System (PAs) with a mission to promote the biodiversity conservation and sustainable management of important biological landscapes with the engagement of local communities by improving their livelihood and human-wildlife coexistence.

In order to expand the partnership for implementation of project, ZSLN invites Expressions of Interest (EOI) from Nepali NGOs to support the implementation of the project at site level i.e., including priority sites of Terai Arc Landscape (TAL) (i.e. Chitwan National Park & its Buffer Zone area and adjacent forests and communities outside PAs). The project activities are related to biodiversity conservation, sustainable livelihoods promotion, human-wildlife coexistence, conservation education and wildlife research & monitoring. The project is contingent upon donor funding availability. 

Eligible Organizations should have at least 5 years’ proven experience of working in similar field in the aforementioned areas and/ or national park. Priority will be given to the organization registered in the district mentioned below.

The EOI should contain followings:

• A cover letter (max 2 pages) outlining how the organization previous experiences and working area aligns with the aforementioned project activities of ZSL Nepal;
• A copy of the constitution and /or by-laws of the organization;
• Copy of the registration/incorporation of the entity;
• Copies of the annual reports, including audit reports of the organization for the past two years;
• Organizational profile, structure, governing board and infrastructure facilities of the organization.

Expression of Interest Form and Terms of Reference can be obtained by sending email request to zslnepalinfo@zsl.org. 

Interested NGOs are requested to submit the filled-up Expression of Interest Form and above-mentioned documents through email at zslnepalinfo@zsl.org no later than Wednesday, 15 July 2026, 5 p.m.

Any questions related to this EoI can be submitted in writing to zslnepalinfo@zsl.org. Telephonic inquiries will not be entertained. ZSL Nepal reserves the right to reject any or all proposals without assigning any reasons.
