Purchasing of Wheelchair

Introduction:

Care Chitwan Society (ACCS) is a non-governmental, non-profit making organization established by group of dedicated parents of children with Autism. ACCS since its inception has been actively working for awareness, the rights and capacity building of child/persons with autism. ACCS has working experience with several INGOs. Besides, in the short period it has gained its credibility from the Organization of Persons with Disabilities (OPD) and Government stakeholders from the district.

Scope of Work:

The project requires 9 numbers of wheelchairs as per the specification and standard below:

The scope of work includes:

1. Making available of the wheelchair as per the above information. 
2. Transportation of the wheelchair to Chitwan
3. Quality standards must be maintained during the whole process.
4. Make availability of the spare parts and technical person for the maintenance. 

Timeline: 

The entire work should be completed within 30 to 45 days of the date of agreement. 

Eligibility and Submission Requirements:

To be eligible for this opportunity, interested consultants/companies must meet the following criteria:

• Must be a registered company with legal documentation (Company registration, VAT, Latest Tax clearance).
• Should possess previous experience in working in the field of assistive devices like wheelchairs and other relevant field. 

Evaluation Criteria:

The submitted expressions of interest will be evaluated based on previous experience, price and quality assurance.

Submission Details:

Interested parties are requested to submit their expressions of interest by the 11th of October 2023. 

The submission should include the following:

• A cover letter expressing the intent to participate and highlighting relevant experience.
• Company profile and legal documentation (Company registration, VAT, Latest Tax clearance).
• Portfolio showcasing previous work on assistive devices and wheelchairs. 
• Proposed timeline for completing the whole process of purchasing of wheelchair. 
• Cost estimate for the entire project, including all the charges.
