Call for Expression of Interest
The Health for Life (H4L) is a five year (2012-2017) project funded by USAID and working in coordination with the Government of Nepal’s Ministry of Health (MoH) to support the testing and roll-out of national-level policies, guidelines, and programs. The primary goal of H4L is to strengthen the Government of Nepal’s capacity to plan, manage, and deliver high-quality and equitable family planning, maternal, newborn, and child health services. H4L activities directly address key health system constraints in the following areas: local health systems governance; data for decision making and evidence-based policy development; human resources management; quality improvement systems; and knowledge and behavior change. H4L collaborates with a wide range of stakeholders, including academic and research institutions, training centers, media partners, and civil society.
H4L intends to subcontract a local agency to provide technical support tothe Nepal Health Research Council (NHRC) to strengthen its knowledge management and sharing practices. Broadly, the tasks include redesigning currentweb-portal, upgrading online journal management system, designing webpage for research ethics, and tool for research data sharing to the public.
Interested agencies should submit their expression of interestand a request for scope of work (SoW) with following documents in electronic copy at marora@rti.org by Monday, 5 December 2016.
- Organization/Company Profile (including human resource capacity)
- Past experience working for government, multilateral, bilateral or I/NGOs in similar tasks
- Organization/company registration certificate with applicable renewal
- List of previous clients
- A copy of VAT registration and tax clearance certificate.
