Call for EOI to conduct Market Landscape Assessment of Menstrual Product ecosystem in Nepal

WaterAid is an international not-for-profit organization, established in 1981, determined to make clean water, decent toilets, and good hygiene practices normal for everyone, everywhere within a generation. We change millions of lives every year, working in 26 countries to provide clean water, decent toilets, and good hygiene. WaterAid has been working in Nepal since 1987. We team up with local partners, technical experts, governments, and communities to support the delivery of integrated WASH services and hygiene behaviour change programme in hard-to-reach communities, helping to transform lives. 

Menstrual health and hygiene (MHH) is essential for the well-being, dignity, and participation of girls, women and individuals who menstruate. It is essential that women, girls and all individuals who menstruate can access reliable information, safe and affordable menstrual supplies, water and sanitation facilities, health services for menstrual discomforts and disorders, and a supportive environment that is free from any form of taboos, stigma and discrimination. The MHH ecosystem is interconnected with various components that includes policies, institutional frameworks, finances, coordination, monitoring, infrastructure, capacity and accountability. To understand this ecosystem, it is important to examine how these components relate to markets for various menstrual products, service delivery and social norms and further enabling environment.

WAN invites Expression of Interest (EOI), from the potential consultants to conduct Market Landscape Assessment of Menstrual Product ecosystem in Nepal. Interested and capable consultancy with an experience in conducting conducting similar landscaping assessments are invited to submit their application via email clearly marked as ‘EOI for Market Landscape Assessment of Menstrual Product ecosystem in Nepal’ to the mentioned email address no later than 9 November 2025.
