Robotics Association of Nepal [RAN] invites applications from qualified, passionate, creative, and motivated individuals for the following positions:
Ujjwal Education Program Mentor
Social Media Manager
We are looking for individuals who are enthusiastic about education, technology, robotics, innovation, communication, and digital media, and who are eager to contribute to RAN's programs and initiatives.
1. UJJWAL EDUCATION PROGRAM – MENTORThe selected mentor will support the delivery of engaging educational activities and help inspire young learners through technology, robotics, innovation, and hands-on learning.
Position Details
Position: Ujjwal Education Program Mentor
Location: Shankhamul, Kathmandu
Employment Type: Paid, Internship / Contract, with potential for full-time engagement based on performance
Reports To: Ujjwal Education Program Coordinator
Time Commitment & Engagement
Duration: 6 Months / 1 year, with the possibility of extension
Stipend: Competitive and commensurate with the candidate's qualifications and experience. Detailed terms will be discussed with shortlisted candidates.
Key Responsibilities
The selected mentor will be expected to:
Facilitate and support educational sessions under the Ujjwal Education Program.
Engage students through interactive, practical, and innovative learning activities.
Support hands-on learning in robotics, technology, coding, and related areas.
Encourage creativity, curiosity, critical thinking, and problem-solving among learners.
Assist in preparing and delivering learning activities and demonstrations.
Maintain a positive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment.
Coordinate with the Ujjwal Education Program Coordinator and RAN team as required.

Have relevant academic, professional, teaching, mentoring, or technical experience.
Relevant experience in robotics, coding, STEM education, engineering, technology, or youth engagement will be an advantage.
2. SOCIAL MEDIA MANAGERRAN is also seeking a creative and motivated Social Media Manager to manage and strengthen the organization's digital presence, communicate its activities and achievements, and engage audiences through compelling content.

Develop and manage RAN's social media content and digital presence.
Create, schedule, publish, and monitor engaging content across relevant social media platforms.
Develop creative content including posts, captions, stories, reels, videos, and promotional materials.
Cover and document RAN programs, events, workshops, competitions, and activities.
Coordinate with program teams to collect relevant information, photographs, videos, and updates.
Maintain a consistent tone, visual identity, and communication style across platforms.
Monitor audience engagement, comments, messages, and social media trends.
Track basic social media performance and prepare periodic reports.
Develop content ideas and campaigns to increase audience engagement and visibility.
Collaborate with the RAN team, designers, photographers, videographers, and program coordinators as required.
Who Can Apply?

Have a strong interest in social media, digital communication, content creation, or marketing.
Have good written and verbal communication skills.
Are creative, proactive, organized, and comfortable working independently.
Have an understanding of major social media platforms and digital trends.
Can create engaging captions, stories, posts, and short-form content.
Have basic skills in photography, videography, graphic design, or video editing.
Experience with tools such as Canva, CapCut, Adobe Creative Suite, or other content creation platforms will be an advantage.
Previous experience managing organizational, professional, educational, technology, or youth-focused social media accounts will be an added advantage.
