Practical Action seeks to recruit following positions for its consultancy delivery arm (PAC Nepal) based in Kathmandu, Nepal.

   (i)  Business Development Associate 

   (ii)  Programme Officer (DRR and CC) 

About the role

Business Development Associate will provide strategic and operational support to the PAC Nepal Managing Director for the development and expansion of Practical Action Consulting in Asia. S/he will be responsible for Donor and Client relations and management; Ensuring quality standards of PAC reports and consultancy delivery and; all aspects related to PAC business development. 

Programme Officer, Disaster Risk Reduction and Climate Change (DRR and CC) will provide strategic and operational support for the development and expansion of Practical Action Consulting in Asia. S/he will be responsible to lead the development and implementation of Practical Action Consulting’s work in Resilience that Protects theme. 

About you

You have progressive experience in development sector and prior experience of working in consulting firms. You are able to work remotely and independently with an understanding of working in a multi-sited environment. You have good knowledge about national and international development approaches and the value add of consultancies. You have excellent networking skills and good track record of leading winning proposals.
