Business Analyst

Details / requirements:
Job Responsibilities:
· Facilitate requirements gathering and documentation, client management and UAT testing.
· Work closely with the team on problem analysis and data gathering, driving conflict/issue resolution and managing the communication of status of significant business process issues.
· Serve as the strategic interface between Customer and Internal Product Development, Quality Assurance and Project Management teams through the various phases.
· Design, create, and document process flows, technical requirements lists, specifications, diagrams, scenarios, mockups, and/or models for the development team.
· Attend client calls and update weekly status report to all the stakeholders.
· Assess business risk, potential severity, probability and strategy.
· Review business and system requirement with stakeholders and obtain sign offs.
· Ensure that the requirements are comprehensive, clear, testable, well documented and maintained.
· Ability to work extended hours or evening shifts as when needed.
Knowledge and Skills:
· Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to develop cohesive working relationships with internal development team and clients.
· Flexibility to adapt to change and willing to learn and develop new skill sets as applicable.
· Exposure in Agile Methodologies.
· Understanding of both client-server and web application development concepts.
· Experienced in leading and mentoring other team members.
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
· Strong analytic, requirement elicitation, organizational, problem solving and decision making skills.
· Prior experience with financial risk management and loan management is a big advantage.
Other Requirements:
Person should be minimum MBA graduate from reputed university with Finance concentration (MBA from US would be an added advantage) and two years of proven experience as a business analyst.
