Backend- Java Developer & API Developer

Required Qualifications

• Master’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
• Having at least 6+ years of experience in Java application development
• Strong proficiency in Java and object-oriented programming
• Experience with frameworks such as Spring or Spring Boot
• Familiarity with RESTful API design and development
• Knowledge of relational databases (e.g., Oracle, PostgreSQL)
• Experience with version control systems like Git
• Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC)
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs using Java
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code
• Collaborate with frontend developers, product managers, and other stakeholders
• Optimize application performance and scalability
• Troubleshoot and debug issues across the application stack
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to team best practices
• Integrate third-party APIs and services
• Ensure security and data protection standards are followed

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with microservices architecture
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Knowledge of containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines
